A poem a day is here!
After spending the last few years writing and performing my poetry at open mic nights throughout the South of England, I have finally begun posting them to my social media. At the end of September, I challenged myself to post ‘a poem a day’ until the end of the month. This totalled to 8 poems, and you can find them here in my reels, or on my ‘poetry’ highlight. Keep an eye out because more will inevitably be posted.
Beginning to post these made me feel deeply uncomfortable and vulnerable at first, but by the end of it I’ve been left feeling fantastic. I received an overwhelmingly good response not just in public comments but in my direct messages too. To this day I am still receiving others’ writings and poems - I’m so glad this has inspired others!
